We started this journey as a full service loss mitigation firm that took all cases on a contingency only basis.
Our principals have many years experience in the Mortgage and Real Estate industry. We’ve handled thousands of client’s loan modifications and previously negotiated modifications on a daily basis. We have worked with just about every bank or servicer in the United States and a few outside of our borders. We realized that the people who needed our help the most could not afford to pay for the service. Even on contingency. Also, it became apparent that once a modification was properly packaged and documented, the odds increased measurabley that the modification would be successful.
The Right Software
After analyzing our service to figure out how to cut the cost we decided that with the right software and support most people can do this for themselves. The truth is the important knowledge based work takes place prior to submitting a file. The majority of our cost and the cost to the client came after we contacted the lender. To us it only made sense that if we could get the homeowner to contact their lender themselves then we could cut the cost drastically, which allows us to help and serve many more people. In addition by incorporating our knowledge with a web based software we could even provide it for free to those who didn't require any support.
Almost Anyone Can Do It
While we understand why modification companies charge their exhorbitant fees, we know that most homeowner have what it takes to do this without 3rd party representation and they will probably need that money at the time their modification.
